Event description

You’re invited to attend the free-of-charge GRDC National Grower Network (NGN) Forum in Gairdner on Wednesay 17 August 2022. It’s your opportunity to meet face to face with GRDC staff and Western Panel members to provide direct input into future research and development that will benefit your local area.

Hear from keynote speakers Philip Honey from Stirlings to Coast Farmers on subsurface drainage and Andrea Hills from DPIRD on sclerotinia and blackleg management in canola. In addition, GRDC Grower Relations Manager Lizzie von Perger will provide insight into current research and extension projects in the local area.

During a facilitated workshop session, the NGN Forum will gather grassroots input into GRDC’s investment plans by capturing issues and constraints facing local growers. Opportunities will then be prioritised by participants for local GRDC research, development and extension support.

Later, join the speakers and GRDC Staff and Panel for free refreshments and dinner. Families are more than welcome (but please RSVP for catering purposes). If able, please bring your laptop or tablet for use during the session. Some devices will be provided for those that can’t.
